We are seeking a Qualified Commis Chef to join our team at Deano’s Woodfired Pizza. This part-time role is perfect for someone with a love for pizza-making and the ability to deliver top-notch quality consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of pizzas to the highest standard.
Hand-stretch pizza dough and ensure precise topping placement.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Monitor and manage inventory for pizza ingredients.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years proven experience as a pizza chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
Strong knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including dough preparation, stretching, and baking.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
